You're right. There are no "secret builds." The only thing that makes a build or strategy a secret is the fact that the OP doesn't know any. In that case I'd invite him/her to browse the Campfire Forum section.

I'll probably get banned for this (although not a big problem if this is the attitude of the forum owners, mods being representative of their values)

Mod is spelt with an M not a G - I think this mod's (should I use moderator's) reply was arrogant, insensitive and aggressive.

Also being 'critical' (of yourself, not others) is fine if you've had a good education, not everyone is so fortunate.

Language is about communication, not grammatical precision.

Oh and shouldn't that be "You know"

Wow, why all the tension over my post? I'm just stating my opinion - that I'm not aware of any unique/secret strategies between guilds. Even if its not that clear to some of you, there is no need to be so uptight about it. Miscommunications often happen.

My English may not be in the best form but comparing it to chatspeak is just offensive.

Added to that, I'm neither speculating nor theorizing. Please do not complicate the matter.

If this is in the wrong forum section, then I apologize. Sheesh...

Thanks for your opinion. I'll let everyone know when I'm taking suggestions on what my opinions should be, or when I let other people dictate what my replies should be.

Being critical has nothing to do with being mean to people or having an education. Being critical means being able to evaluate and analyze something- whether it's a build, a poem, a piece of music, a drawing, or a court brief. Being critical of others is fine- stop getting in a huff over non-issues. If people misunderstood the language, then that's a misunderstanding. There's no malice in my words.

See my first comment in this reply. It's my preference that if someone has a problem with me they come first to me privately- otherwise you end up with ridiculous posts like these where the forumites are trying to antagonize the mods and I'm up at midnight defending my position to...a bunch of forumites.

I apologize to the OP for letting this issue hijack the thread. I never intented to "pick on you" either- I was just looking for more clarity in your original post. As you can see from reading the post linked to above, it's a topic that interests me and I think is fully worth our time.

Please direct your posts to the other thread as this one is now closed.
And if you have beef with me, send it to me privately first. Open criticism is not likely to get you banned on Guru, but posts that we feel do not belong in public will be deleted.
